Qigong (氣功) is a traditional Chinese mind–body practice that integrates gentle movement, breath control, and focused awareness to cultivate and balance the body’s vital energy, known as qi (or chi). It has roots in traditional Chinese medicine, martial arts, and meditation, and has been practiced for thousands of years.

Qigong practices include:

Slow, flowing movements
-
Deep, relaxed breathing

There are many styles, ranging from very gentle (like medical qigong) to more vigorous forms.
